I am having an issue with the handshake to the could server. I am using version 4.0.5 I have tried healing the network, repairing the incontrol software, removing and re-installing software. All with no change to the connection to the could server. I have had this happen before and I ended up reloading my OS to fix it. I really don't want to do that again. Can someone offer some suggestions. I can upload my log file if I need to.

Andy -

Which version of InControl are you using? You should hopefully be up to version 2.225 or up to one of the version 3.X's found in the forums. If so, that error should go away. It's trying to connect to the old server which is no longer around. The 3.0 version doesn't use that one anymore and the 2.225 version additionally connects to our current live server, so even with that error, your cloud connection should remain intact and working from your mobile devices.

I have 3.5xxxxx and have been having the same issue with the cloud service.

I'm running 2.225.4868.21315 Pro and I'm having the same issue. It'll stay up for several hours, and then it will fail with the same error message. To get it back up I have to take it offline and back online again by clicking the slider in the bottom right.

We've been having a problem with our Rackspace server today - something we are in the process of solving with Rackspace. I'll respond here when we feel we've got the problem taken care of.

Rackspace reports that all is well with our server now that they've switched it to different hardware.

One thing I'd like to point out - for anyone using 2.225 or earlier, that version connected to two servers: The old one at http://www.incontrolzwave.com:4530/ and the new one at http://cloud.incontrolha.com:443. If you are getting the message about the first one, you can generally disregard it since the latest versions of the mobile apps use the new server and not the old.
