Not the best solution but what i would try is to create two scenes instead of one having the same triggers & conditions. The first scene with no pre-script and the second one with the pre-script and the list of devices having the no-change checkbox ticked.
I hope that helps ...
Thanks

I have a Scene triggered by a motion sensor. In the Scene I use as prescript:EmailSceneStatusReport
The snap is always delayed by 4 seconds, which makes it unusable.I think we discussed this already a year or two ago, when rules had to be changed in events, but i don't remember if there was a solution.
Does anybody now how to reduce this delay to at least 1 second ?

Are you saying it takes 4 seconds before the email is sent? Or are you saying there is a delay in sending the email so the rest of your scene doesn't execute?

There is a time stamp in the device (Motion Level Report)
Second time stamp in the picture taken by the script EmailSceneStatusReport.
EmailSceneStatusReport is defined in the event as prescript and Post script.
So i get two images ( with 2 email) the first picture time stamp shows a delay of 4 seconds, the second picture
aprox 10 seconds.

I suspect what you are seeing is a delay caused by your actual email server; it likely takes 4 seconds to connect to and conclude the email sending process. Do you have a way to confirm this? If so, I can make the email sending happen in a background thread if it's not important that emails get sent in a sequence.

It could also be the Foscam-Camera which is causing the delay! The camera is in the same Scene and delivers immediately 6 Pictures on a rate of about 2 images per second. You can now argue why do i need in addition the snap via EmailSceneStatusReport if the camera does the job correctly. The advantage of the snap via EmailSceneStatusReport is the possibility to change position from one snap to another. I also tried to inhibit the triggering in the Foscam Camera this morning, but i still get the 4 second delay.
So for the mapping of moving objects we just have to relay on the Foscam camera!
