Hi!
I have set up an "alarm rule" that works just nice and activates an "Alarm" Scene that emails me when a motion detector i triggered. It is a rule that is on during daytime but I want to be able to disable the rule from the smartphone GUI. I just can't figure out how? From the mobile GUI I can not see the rules, and I can only activate scenes and not disable them...
So - I was thinking of doing a Scene called "Disable Alarm" that either would disable the rule or the Alarm Scene. The thought is that I may have many different alarm rules all using the Alarm scene so it would be best to disable the alarm scene?
So what I need is probably a script that is executed in the "Disable Alarm" scene, that disables the "Alarm" scene... Follow me?
So - how do I disable a Scene/Rule in a script? Or is there a better way?

Check out the below link and see if this helps with an idea on how to setup a simple alarm using a virtual device as a condition for when the alarm should be on or off.

Embarrassingly enough I did read that tutorial a week ago when trying to decide which software to use but forgot about the virtual device that is "the trick"
