InControl stops working every few days

Thus far my Gen5 hasn't locked up. I've had it for about a month now.


If not having problems with the current version, would it be worth paying $45 to upgrade to GEN5 in your opinion? Other than not locking up, any other benefits of a GEN5 USB controller?

It's likely that you USB stick has locked up. It's a common problem that the z stick series 2 experiences. You might see an improvement by using a powered USB hub. In addition, the new gen5 appears to not have that problem in my initial tests.

The powered hub helped for sure, but for me the system still needs rebooted after several days. Are you saying that the Gen 5 controller hasn't showed this issue at all?

I had problems with the Zstick driver. I upgraded it and the problem went away. Search for other posts from me for the details.
