Issue with new server

I recently got a new server. Bother servers are running Windows Server 2008 R2. However with this new one incontrol is not working properly. I cannot add any devices, even manually with the ZStick. And it always says my ZStick is low on battery. As a test I installed incontrol in my Windows 7 PC and it works fine, everything picks right up and flows and adds nicely. Anyone else run into this?

Also no matter how many times I uninstall it and wipe the directory it still remembers everything. is there a way to do a clean install or full uninstall? this may fix my issues.

My first guess would be that your z-stick drivers are not installed properly (or at all?) on the new server. Can you confirm that you see a COM port listed in your device manager and under what name?

Other than that, you might find some good info in your logfile.txt.

This is interesting too... can you describe it a little more? Do you mean when you add a device to the z-stick, it (the usb stick) doesn't confirm that the device was added?

Also, you have a database stored here that will remember certain settings even with an uninstall.

The process goes fine with the ZStick itself. When I finally plug in the stick inControl doesn't pick on any of the devices I added manually as if I pretty much just unplugged and plugged in the stick.

Can you go to tools/options/zwave and make sure that "3" is entered into the COM port box?

After going and deleting that database you send me to, then doing another uninstall and reinstall everything seems to be good now.
