As a general rule, 0 is off and >0 is On (mostly 255, some are 100)

Have you tried to add a condition to your scene that checks if the switch is on for xx seconds?
Thanks

So you have a motion sensor outside? Not sure but this might work, you'd have to test it. Not sure when the conditions kick in:

Devices
- light on
- 30 sec pause
- light off
Triggers
- motion
Conditions
- light off

When you go to put a condition in, I get:

A Device level is at 0

So now it reads: Front porch light = 0

What is the "0" This is the state I am looking for. Is 0 off?

Do I need to put > 0?

I do not want the scene to run if the light is on already.

The easiest way to tell is to go to the Devices tab. Right of there is a drop down, tile or list. Change is from tile to list and it will show the actual device state number, 0 or 100, or even 255...

Thank you, exactly what I was looking for. Forgot that was even there.

I've noticed most of my lights with dimmers is 99, they never go to 100. Not a problem for me, and it is just the dimmable ones. The others are at 255 when on. I did get my situation straightened out in a minute once I was reminded about the status. Works great. I am now up to 18 zwave devices, 2 cameras, 1 lock, 1 thermostat and they all work great. I also do have a Simon XTI security system and I am thinking about adding the zwave module into that, but I need to do a little research to see if I can make it a secondary controller. Anyway, thanks for the help guys.
