Hi,

I purchased the Philips Hue plugin last week but can't get it to work.

From the "Hue Bridge Setup" screen within Axial I have a 'select bridge' dropdown menu. The only entry in the list is 'Unknown Bridge'.

I select that bridge and hit 'configure' then press the button on the bridge as directed.

Axial tries to configure the bridge but reports"The configuration attempt failed. Please try again."

In the log I see these corespeonding entries:

HUE: Attempting to authorize InControl user

HUE: [{"error"{["type":1,"address":"/","description":"unauthorized user"}}]

The native Philips Hue Android app communicates/controls my bridge fine.

From the 'about' screen in the native Hue app:

App. version 2.4.0 (96)

Philips hue (bridge):

ID: 294D82

Model: BSB002

Version: 01035934

This is the sqaure 'version 2' bridge.

Thanks

Please submit a ticket to our support team. There's a new version of the Hue plugin that's being tested for those v2 bridges that we can send your way.

I turned in a ticket concerning this as I have the same issue.  Awaiting....

For anyone else wondering about this - you can exit Axial Server and restart it to get a prompt to update your Hue plugin. Once you've updated, you should try the authorization piece again. All should work at this point.

Hi Ryan,

I meant to return to confirm this - The new plugin which was pushed out resolved my issue and I can now control my version 2 Hue bridge from Axial - thank you!

My Hue Plugin has stopped working - it won't turn on/off the lights or reflect their actual status. Using Axial Control version 4.1.6192.32946

Is this an issue with my specific installation/setup or a known issue?

My bridge/lights were updated recently -From the 'about' screen in the native Hue app:

App. version 2.7.0 (111)

Philips hue (bridge):

ID: 294D82

Model: BSB001

Version: 01036659

Thanks!

There's no known issue with the latest firmware. Did you get your problem resolved?

I wanted to double-check and grab my log file entries before responding:

Yes it's still happening. What I noticed is Axial thinks it is turning the Hue on and off (the light bulb icon goes on and off) but the actual Hue light does not change.

Here are the log entires when activating the Hue light from within Axial:

--- BEGIN ---

2/7/2017 9:34:29 AM: HUE: Set Power True
2/7/2017 9:36:03 AM: HUE: Set Power False

--- END ---

If I use the menu to configure the Hue plugin, I get a "no bridges were found" message in the configuration window. Here are the coresponding log entries:

--- BEGIN ---

2/7/2017 9:36:42 AM: HueUI: getHueUser() [long random string omitted in case its a UID]
 2/7/2017 9:36:47 AM: HUE: []
2/7/2017 9:36:47 AM: HUE: Bridges found at meethue: 0

--- END ---

Not sure if it's related but I also see this message in the log when I start the UI:

--- BEGIN ---

2/7/2017 9:30:07 AM: PluginUpdate: Philips Hue Plugin update needed because 1.10.0.0 is < 1.10.9999.9999

--- END ---

I am using Hue plugin version 1.10 (latest available on the site) with Axial Control version 4.1.6237

Thanks again - let me know if there's any further testing you need me to do.

What do you see when you visit this site from the same network where your Hue is setup: https://www.meethue.com/api/nupnp ?
