Problem Adding devices with Z-stick

You should be able to unplug your Zwave stick and take it to your zwave device. If you push the button and the light will light up. Then you hit the include button on your zwave device and the ring should flash. If you hit the button twice, it should be in remove mode compared to once into include mode.

Believe that you should remove all your zwave devices from your old system prior to bringing them into Incontol HA.

Once you include your zwave devices, then you put your zwave dongle back into your incontrol HA PC, and the new devices should show up within the software. Sometimes a good reboot helps that process.

Unfortunately manually adding the new devices won't work, I tried that first before I tried adding them using incontrol.

I have done it before so I know how to do it but for some reason when I get the Z-stick in inclusion mode and then press the z-wave button on the device it doesn't register, I get no response at all.

@weidnerj.....You were right about removing the devices prior to bringing them into Incontrol.

I fixed this issue by:

1)Resetting the USB stick from with incontrol.
2)Removing every device manually by removing usb stick and putting it in exclusion mode.
3)Adding all devices from within incontrol.

cheers
