Push ID not showing on Android

I have the paid Android app installed on a Nexus 5 and a Nexus 7. Neither device shows me a Push ID when I hit the ? icon on the main screen. A week ago it said "Push ID: null". Now it just says " Push ID" and nothing else. I have push enabled on 6 devices (all Aeon micro switches or dimmers) in InControl, only thing missing as far as I can tell is being able to get the push id from my devices.
Am I missing something, or is this awesome feature currently broken?

Adam -

In version 4 of the InControl server the Push ID will be registered automatically. We plan to do the official release of 4.0 within the next week or so, but if you'd like to get your hands on an early release candidate, send me a PM or an email to let me know. Please include your email address so I can email you a download link.

Thanks for the link to version 4. Installed just fine as far as I can tell. I now see one Android device listed in the Push Devices tab in the Options menu. Can't tell of its the nexus 5 phone or the nexus 7 tablet, but neither of those two devices update the status on the device widgets.
Is there a way to tell which of these 2 android devices is the one listed in the Push Devices menu?
Is there something I have missed with getting the widgets to update status of my light switches?
I have verified push notifications for the incontrol app are enabled on my android devices. Enabled push updates in the incontrol server properties menu for each device. And now have one device out of two listed in the push devices tab of the options menu on server.

Answered one of my own questions. Phone was running android app version 3.2.0 which is newest one, so it was the one that auto registered with server version 4. Updated tablet app, and now both phone and tablet show in the Push Devices tab of Options menu on server, but still not updating widget to reflect status of light switches.

This go-around doesn't update the widget, but it does allow you to send actual notifications via scene activations.

Thanks for the clarification. Are there any plans to get the status update working for the widgets?
I spent a long time researching home automation software and recently made the leap to pay for InControl. I have been happy with my decision so far, it is very easy to set up, get scenes working, and use (even my wife is using it, and believe me, that is saying something!).
Only small issues I have seen so far (only been at it for a few weeks) is not working well with a multisensor I was trying out and the widgets not updating.
Again, thanks for the clarification on current state of push notifications, and for the pre-release trial of version 4.

Oh wow! Just got an update for android version of paid app, and it says added back the feature to have widgets update status... Now who can tell me how to get that working? My devices are added in the server software under pish devices (and I see a push ID in the android app now too, and I verified they match what server sees). Widgets, still stuck on whatever status the devices were on when I initially added them to home screen of phone.
