This is going to sound insane, but do you have the InControl server window maximized? I was having troubles with InControl being unresponsive doing just what you mentioned when the window was maximized, but it's running like a champ when it's not maximized.

I had the same problem. The answer is to not use rules but use triggers and conditions. You can do everything and more. You will see in other posts that rules will some day be removed. Hope this helps.

I had problems when it wasn't at max. I deleted all my rules (make sure if you have conditions to clear them). I also found to make a single change in a rule and exit the rule helped. There is 1 rule I can't delete, I am getting help from Ryan on that. I haven't had time to try his suggestions yet. I will try them this afternoon. Using the triggers and conditions works great and there is no need for the rules.
