I have 2 strange issues:

1. The blue led on AEON USB STICK turns off for 10-20 seconds recurrently. As a result the performance on my zwave network is slow sometimes. When the blue led is on, the performance is instant. I have no dead devices (checked with zentools)

2. When i am using the mobile app (Android 5.0.2) to turn on/off lights and devices , the result is not always what it should be. For example i select to turn on the kitchen light and instead the balcony light turns on or both of them!. This only happen from the mobile app. I tried to uninstall and re install it from google play but i have the same behavior.

Thanks

1) It sounds like you are polling a device that either can't be polled (battery powered) or is out of range. When the light on the USB stick turns off for that long, it's because the USB stick is waiting for a device to respond. Look in your logfile.txt or your events list to see if you can identify the device that is failing.

2) Are you able to consistently reproduce this one? I.e, if you turn off the kitchen light, does it always cause the balcony light to turn off?

  1. My logfile has a lot of these entries:

    19/5/2015 8:43:38 πμ: MC: Unprocessed command: 37, 3, 0
    19/5/2015 8:44:31 πμ: MC: Unprocessed command: 49, 5, 1
    19/5/2015 1:42:32 πμ: Weather: Error polling - System.Net.WebException
The remote server returned an error: (429) Too Many Requests.

    2. I can reproduce the problem but it is a random issue so it is not always repeatable.

I had the same problem that I would turn on one device and another would come on. Had to remove power to one device, and go to the other device and exclude it and include it again. From what I can tell both were set to the same ID. Was able to turn the power off on my switches by pulling the little power control level. On modules, I just unplugged them. If they were both outlets, I have had to either physically disconnect it, or hopefully if I was lucky was to turn off the power at the fuse box. Then I would turn on the secondary device and exclude it and include it for good measure.

I checked and there are no duplicate IDs.

It won't show up as a duplicate ID. The way that I figured it out was to turn on (or off) a device and see if it was immediately or if it was about a 10 second delay before the spinning icon returned to normal. At least that is what I had to do to get my duplicate devices separated.
