[quote=pir8radio]I have used these modules at my work.. They are the the least expensive on the market.. (link at bottom of this post). They are Ethernet digital and analog modules, yes i know there are similar zwave devices out there, these are hard wired they also sell wi-fi versions... These would be great for far away devices, like entry gates, outdoor "things", maybe a pole barn that you want to automate but don't want to string zwave repeaters out to it? Or maybe you don't like zwave or wireless because its flaky. Being able to control these hard wired remote I/O devices would be awesome! There is plenty of documentation on their site about these modules and controlling them, I have worked with them and I don't think it would take that much on your part to integrate them into InControl.. I would pay for that "plugin" :-) If i recall correctly you can even make http requests to get info, and change output states... that should make it easy...

Seems like it would be easier to string repeaters to a far away location instead of new ethernet wiring. :) In any case, if you could help us get our hands on one, we could look into a plugin. We'll ship it back to you as soon as the development is taken care of. OR - if you have one setup and provide remote access to it (in theory, you could forward a port to it), that would possibly help us have something to test against.

Maybe... :-) I guess my mindset is stable worry/maintenance free... Ill find one of my old adam modules and send it out to you... thanks for even considering it though!! Going to submit one more request... last one I promise.

Where do i send this? and do you need anything else? I'll include a power supply that plugs into a standard wall outlet, i will need to know what IP you would like it setup for, or DHCP if you like (i don't recall if it does DHCP).
