I was wondering if anyone has been successful with setting one of these up to lock doors? I have been able to set mine up so I can turn off all my lights by pushing my home link button in my car but I can't seem to figure out how to lock the doors with this.

The button effectively just turned everything on or off or control a single device but locks don't work that way. You can either use an AEON Labs fab that can active a scene (to lock and unlock the door) or write a rule when "all" the lights are off to lock the door.

If you wanted to invest in a dummy zwave device (say AEON Labs plug in module), you could use that to lock or unlock the door by writing a rule against that device (if the device is off the door lock and if the device is on the doors unlock). This might be a bit over kill but it should work.

Hope this is helpful information...

Thanks
I think I will try the dummy device, that is a great idea.
