I have put the WeMo plugin dlls in the plugins directory, tried offline and service restart of InControl and the plugin is not showing up in the plugins menu, nor are the WeMo devices (which work fine from the iPhone Belkin app). I even tried rebooting the PC, still no luck.

What am I missing?

Do you have anything in your logfile.txt showing an error about failing to load it? One thing I've seen is that windows "locks" the files since you downloaded them from the internet. You might try to take your original zip and view the properties and unlock/unblock it. After that, unzip the file to the plugin folder and give it another shot.

Have you already configured your WeMo devices using the Belkin Wemo app and set them up to use your same network as your InControl computer? You might also try to disable firewall just to see if that might be blocking access to them. They broadcast a UPnP packet to help themselves be discoverable; if that's being blocked, then InControl won't know how to find them.

Yes they function within the Belkin iPhone app without a problem and are located on the same WiFi network as the inControl PC. I disabled the firewall and still no luck. I can ping the WeMo devices without a problem from the inControl PC but still no luck. I am running Windows 8.1.

Any other ideas? Is there a debug I can turn on?

Also they show up on the inControl PC under the Network control panel as "Other Devices" which makes me believe that UPnP is working.

What kind of Wemo devices are they? I'll see if I can add a mod so you can manually add the devices to your network.

Just a standard WeMo Switch that plugs in to a wall outlet.

If you haven't already, check your account and re-download the Wemo plugin. We've made a new update that will address the problem; you can also manually add a device using the plugin menu.

Hi,
will this kind of wemo insight switch be supported?

I had a major issue getting my WeMo devices to work - a light switch and an outlet.
the log file had this entry in it:

[b]2015-11-28 4:04:14 PM: PluginUpdate: WeMo Plugin update needed because 1.7.1.14686 is < 1.7.9999.9999="">

What resolved it for me was when I was trying to add a rule to the devices on the phone app, I was informed I had to update the firmware for them first.
Once the firmware update had taken place, Incontrol server saw the devices straight away and I have had no issues with adding them to scenes.

The biggest problem is the initial install of the WeMo devices, but that is not due to any fault of the InControl program.
