Hi

I am trying to configure a Z-Wave-to-AC IR Extender ZXT-120 to work with InControl. The IR Extender is being detected successfully by InControl as a thermostat however in the IR Extender properties there is no option to set the IR remote code. Is there an alternative way to input the code? Documentation for the device are located at http://www.remotec.com.hk/zaspx/support.aspx

It looks like you'll need to enable the Beta Z-Wave Controller so that you can have access to the Configuration Parameters. Enable this in the Tools/Options menu.

Once its enabled, you'll see a new button titled "Params" when you select the device. Your particular device appears to be battery operated, so it'll be important when you enter a parameter value and click "Retrieve" that you wake the device up. Your manual mentions a "listening mode" - that might be how you wake it up. Note that you also need to wake it up when you perform a "Set Value."

Please ignore the last post, a reboot fixed the problem

For those who are looking to add a Z-Wave-to-AC IR Extender ZXT-120 to there zwave network I have tested the device and so far working properly with InControl. This is the first thermostat I have on my network and I am somehow confused with the reading on the thermostat widget. When I put the thermostat on the widget reads "30-On-Cool (off)" and I switch it to off it reads "30-On-Off (off)". The only value that changes is the cool value. What are the first On and last (Off) used for?

I see this is an old post but I've just installed one of the ZXT-120 devices as well. I'm guessing you have probably answered your own question by now in terms of the widget display?
Have you found the controller works well since installing a year ago? I have a Fujitsu heatpump and after trying a few options found a code that seems to work OK. I don't have all options available though and one that would be really good is the ability to activate the Powerfull mode on the heatpump. I'm wondering if that is a limitation of the controller not knowing that command, or is it InControl not having that option in the command/mode list?
