Hi
I'm trying to get two ZXT-120 AC IT Extenders working and having trouble with them. I have successfully added them to the network, and at first ( a few weeks ago) they seemed to be working, but after being away for a few weeks I am now working on them again and having problems getting any activity to work.
Here's some details on what does/doesn't work:
- added to network OK (have also removed and re-addedd)
- does not always show all values -sometimes just battery and no temperature values
- no commands get sent to heatpump - I am using a code that worked when first connected
- auto-configure fails
- can get/set parameter values

I'm using IncontrolHA version 4.0.5582.26031

I have also moved InControlHA to a new computer for other reasons, and this problem was the same before and after the move.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I don't have this device but when I can't autoconfig I set in properties the flag on "Queue Command Untile Wakeup".

Are you using it with battery or power cable?

I'm using it on USB power and following the device instructions, have changed the listening mode from FLIRS to Always Listening

You said before that the device worked the first time, or am I wrong?

Try this:
- exclude from incontrolha
- remove usb
- exclude from usb
- reset device
- include with incontrolha
- set "Queue Command Untile Wakeup"
- set "Force Poll" 30sec
- set "Audit Node" (for testing than can be removed)
- Offline\Online
- try autoconfig

I've been through most of that before and to be sure, have just run through the list as you've provided.
I have found that there is another Thermostat device I can't delete (reappears if I delete from InCOntrol) which may be from when I was initially testing with batteries and perhaps had not removed the device from the controller before changing to USB power.

Having finished the remove/add process and setting the properties as suggested, I am still getting a Fail on the auto-config. - The message is:
Auto-Configuration Node 19
Associating device with main controller...
...Fail!
Manufacturer Id is 21076. Product Id is 33655.

I also had a problem of ghost device with a 4in1 multisensor...
I tried everything
- Heal node
- Zeentools remove dead nodes
- Exclude / include

But in the end I had to reset the USB stick!

I do not know if you can do it, but if you do you can also update the firmware:
