Assign buttons in software

I've asked for this before, but it's becoming a huge annoyance for me. The way that Axial currently assigns scenes to buttons on physical remotes is no good.

The only way to do it is to take each remote control one at a time, click the button on the scene that gets it to listen for the button press, and then press the button on the remote. I then have to do this for every button press on every remote.

This wouldn't be too bad, but for one problem: there's nothing in the software that gives you an indication of which button presses do what. You just have to remember it or write it down.

This also wouldn't be too bad, but then things get weird when you try to reprogram those buttons. The software sometimes seems to get confused and thinks one button sets off two scenes, for example.

Overall it's just a really bad UI setup, especially if you're like me and you have five minimotes and 2 other scene controllers, with a total of 54 possible buttons that could be programmed.

I really liked the way that Vera handled these remotes. I could simply open up the remote its self, and there would be a list of all the buttons that could be used on that remote. I could click a drop-down list next to each button and assign a scene to each one. I didn't have to go fetch each and every remote, and I'd have a list of each assignmnet right there in the software. There's a lot about Vera that I hated, but that wasn't one of them.

I posted a thread about this a couple years ago. I posted a feature request on that other support site for Axial. Neither got any response. Please let me know if this is possible!
