I also noticed the iPad version doesn't render correctly at all making it unusable. I am using a Gen3 iPad with the latest iOS.

There's a fix already for the devices on the iPad. Just waiting for Apple to review it and approve it for distribution. Hopefully they'll do that this week.

I am using the IOS paid app to connect over the cloud. When I added to new devices to show outside temp and inside temp, they showed correctly on my iPhone. However, after restarting the iPhone app the devices now show up as lights.

Can you double check what your InControl server detects the device as? Generally it should be a "level displayer"

It says LevelDisplayer for both. I am using a Trane Thermostat: Product type="5452" id="5436" name="Model TZEMT400BB32MAA".

If I uninstall the iOS app and then re-configure it, they will come back in as gages but if I kill the app with the task manager it will switch back to lights the next time I load the app.

Here is a screen shot of my phone. You can see how the two temps changed to lights and also show as on.

Do they also show up in the light list when you tap on that button?

Can you also get me a screen shot of those devices from the InControl Server screen (please select one of them so I can see the right-hand panel on it).

Here you go.

I think I see what is going on, your app seems to default those tiles to lights when it loads for the first time. If I go back and change those two tiles to something else then close the app and end it in the "task manager" (what ever iOS calls it). Then open it back up. I can pick the temp modules again and it looks fine until I close the app all the way out and make sure it's not running in the background again.
