Hi,
has anyone managed to get the newly released Aeon Labs Garage Controller to work with inControl. The sensor appears to be working to indicate if the garage is open /closed , however operating the garage door is not working? I have the device type set up as GarageDoorOpener. I'm running 4.0.5593.23457.

I also noticed that if I use device type switch that it will work, but then the sensor information about garage door position is not available.

I haven't been able to get my hands on one yet, but I would imagine it's similar to other garage door openers in that you need to include it using InControl's tool/add device command. Be sure to associate it with your USB stick as well. Finally, you may need to run an "auto-configure" against it.

Thanks Ryan. I did the steps you recommended (after removing device using tools/remove device) and it was discovered as a standardswitch. I did an autoconfigure on the device and it was successful but no change. The operation of the garage door works as a standard switch just fine, however it doesn't seem to indicate if the garage is open or closed. (If I force poll, it seems to correctly show the switch as on or off (on being garage open, off being garage closed). Any advice on more advanced configuration explorations ?
