Any more info on the power strip. I picked one up and though is't pretty cool, not being able to control each outlet individually is kind of a show stopper. Incontrol can see each outlet as an "End Point" but I can't see a way to control each separately. I also can't seem to get any electrical usage information out of it either, I hope I am just missing something.

I've got the same powerstrip and can control each outlet independently. If you go to the Incontrol HA Software tab on this page, there's a Recipe book that has instructions for multichannel device setup that explains it well. Right now the energy usage displays 255 when it's on and 0 when it's off. I reported this to Ryan and he's working on the energy usage.

And a year later since work on this issue was promised I still find nothing useful. I have set parameter = 80 to value = 2 and get no energy readings on the iOS app and can find no way of reading values in the InControl PC GUI.

Param 80 is for state changes, not energy.

As far as energy readings, there's not any info on the regular pepper1 site regarding that device, so unless someone else has the implementation guide from Aeon Labs (or an idea of the command classes it uses for energy readings), we can't add support for it.

I found this a while ago, it's the engineering spec pdf for the smart strip. It should contain the parameters you're looking for towards the end of the document: https://db.tt/asnDDSDr

Thank you for posting this. I did manage to get a copy of that same pdf from Aeon Labs last week and sent a copy to Ryan. Hopefully he will be posting something soon in the way of an InControl update or tutorial.

Ryan, any update on this?  I got one of these wanting to monitor energy level from the 4 managed outlets, and only can see if they are powered on or powered off (using the master power button), can't indivudually control each outlet or see each energy levels.

Here is the documenation I have found on the parameters:

http://devel.pepper1.net/zwavedb/device/770

https://products.z-wavealliance.org/products/1015

After changing the following I started to see more parameters after doing another discovery of the power strip:

Changed the values of 101, 102 and 103 to DEC 32639 / Binary 111111101111111

The powerstrip reporting features will work fine once you have it configured properly. You may try to auto configure it, as I seem to recall we programmed it to set a basic configuration for more detailed reporting.

To control each individual outlet, you can click the "create device" button next to the end points, then send power controls to that new device. Here are some details on how to set that part up.
