Because all z-wave options from here out will only be programmed with the Beta Z-Wave Controller, we recommend setting that option up. To do so, go to Tools/Options and select the Z-Wave tab. Check the box that says "Beta Z-Wave Controller."

Note that the beta controller should work with any z-wave controller which uses a COM port; this means that the ThinkStick is not compatible and should continue using the non beta controller.
