I spent 7 hours yesterday trying multiple ways of getting the ZWN-SC7 Scene controller working.
I was able to add it to my Aeon Z-Wave Stick 2 and when I plug it back into my computer Incontrol shows it as a "CONTROLLER". I try to auto config and it fails. EVERY time. No matter how many times I remove it from the network, reset the ZWN-SC7 using the right side of the keypad, kill the power to it. NODDA....
What am I doing wrong??? Can anyone help???
First, can you tell me some basic info:
- What version of InControl are you using?
- How close to the device is InControl and your usb stick? Is there any possibility that it's out of nominal communication range?
- If you turn on the audit node feature for the wall controller, what's being reported in your logfile.txt regarding the auto configure?
It should be a pretty straight forward device and auto configure should definitely work. Can you send a screen shot of the message that comes up afterwards?
Version 3.14
I have set the Z-stick on the switch, inches away, and up to 3 feet away. Everytime it the switch flashes that it is connected, zstick flashes that it is attached. Shows up in Incontrol as a "CONTROLLER" but never auto configs.
Audit Node.... This is a new one to me. Can you explain?
Found audit node....
Version 3.14
Can you confirm your version? 3.14 is really old! Version 3.126 or version 3.148 (if you went with the Experimental release) should be the latest available.

Thanks!
Can you do a second auto configure in the same InControl session (i.e, don't restart the server after the first one) and send that message as well?
Can do.... Just left the house back in about 2 hours but I have ran it a second time right after with the same results and same message. I will post a screen shot along with the log file
Ran twice.... from across the room and then right next to the switch
