How Do You Delete Dead Device From Z-Stick?

Is it possible - and if so how - to delete a dead/missing z-wave device? My Z-Stick primary controller contains devices which don't exist due to failed registration or resets. I assume their presence is not a good thing causing attempts to access devices that don't exist. But I can't seem to find a way to delete the devices.
There is a delete button in the software, but it doesn't seem to be working. Am I missing something?

Steve, download the zen-tools and use them to "remove failed device" - just hover your mouse over the tool buttons at the top to see what the tooltip is that shows up.
