I know there have been alot of posts about this topic but i am still unclear on getting this setup properly. I currently have a Honeywell Tuxedo Touch Zwave Alarm panel and incontrol. I bought the alarm panel first because i thought it was an awesome way to have a dedicated zwave controller that also functions as a legit security system. I ended up straying away from it due to its limited functionality with certain zwave devices such as motion sensors. I have tried for hours to setup my zstick as secondary controller and when i do, its pretty much useless. Here are the steps i'm following

1. Launch zensys tools and click on settings, detect, and ok. This displays my zstick and all the necessary settings.

2. Which initially launched, my zstick shows up as real primary. I hit the lightning bolt, i get a message about learning new devices

3. I go to my honeywell, i click on add new device to put it in inclusion mode, it goes through the process of adding a new controller and i see the zstick controller added but next to it is a lock icon

4. I go back to my pc and noticed that there are 2 controllers now and they both say "Other Secondary Network".

5. At this point my honeywell is the primary controller and can function with all my devices but my zstick will not let me add any devices.

It seems to me that when i go through this process the zstick creates a new network and the devices added to my controller before wont add because they are not on the same Zwave Network. How do i fix this? I remember seeing a video tutorial on how to use the zensys tools before but i can't seem to find it. Whats the difference between SUS/SIS? What do those buttons mean? Is there some sort of security key involved in setting up these controllers? Do i need to give my honeywell tuxedo access to zstick security? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

In order for a z-stick -- installed as a secondary controller -- to add/exclude devices, your Tuxedo would need to be in SUS/SIS mode. The Tuxedo is the one that always assigns node IDs, so having it be in SUS mode means the the USB stick will contact it to get the node ID. Without it being in this mode, it won't be able to include new nodes into the network.

So... I guess the trick here is trying to get the Tuxedo into SUS/SIS mode. Is there any mention of that in your control panel?
