I have been using the InControl system at home here for about 6 months, overall pretty good, thank you.
With my Kwikset lock, I have only been using basic lock/unlock fine for about 3 months.
I tried to add additional remote codes within InControl, using the Setup Lock Codes function on the right mouse button menu on the lock. Started simple. Added a second 6 digit code to slot #2 and I could see my existing (and working) 6 digit code in slot #1. However, after I saved the #2 code it would not work on the lock itself.
I started playing around thinking some small configuration issue. Next thing I know, I was able to create multiple slots (i.e. two #2 User ID slots in the Door Code Management window) with the same code, different code or blank code. And all not working on the lock. If I tried to delete the codes, it would give a success message, but then still show multiple duplicates (i.e. two #2 slots one blank and one with old/bad code).
I did try removing the lock and re-adding the lock from InControl. The "new" lock in InControl still showed the same old duplicated codes when it came back. I was able to finally try a 4-digit code in slot 4 and it did work.
But anyways, something not quite right I think in the add/modify/delete GUI for Setup Lock Codes, at least Kwikset locks.
