Some of you have reported that you have seen a message saying "Licensing has expired" and it has understandably brought up some questions.
For anyone who purchased InControl prior to November 1st, 2012 you were given free updates until May 1st, 2013. For anyone who purchased after that date, you'll get 6 months of free updates. The license expiring message means that the free updates are or will be expiring soon.
To clear up some confusion -- InControl is NOT a monthly paid service. Even if your license has expired, you'll be able to continue to use InControl, but you won't be able to upgrade to the latest version unless you renew your license.
If you find yourself with a version of InControl that won't work with your license, you should go to our download page and download an earlier version that was within the time-frame of your free updates.
If you want to use a newer version of InControl and your license has expired, you can renew it for a small fee -- lifetime updates are also available at that link. When you purchase a renewal, re-activate using your original key -- not the "renewal" key.
