Is there a log/event files that tracks device state changes? trigger events? scene activations? etc...?

I just installed a trial version and wanted to ask the same question. My EntryControl device log is empty.

Found a "logfile" in the base software directory that has event schedule activity info...

Be sure to enable the "Extra scene data" option in the tools/options menu to get lots of details about scene events.
Also, if you want to dig deeper, you can double click a device and turn on the audits. If you are using the beta controller, those will also be added to the logfile.txt.
