I've been looking around for a security style keypad that just sends an on or off signal. Not a lot of luck, but I had an idea on how to make one. I found this generic keypad that's programmable, looks good and is cheap:

Then there's this with an external switch input that would probably fit right in the bow with the keypad:

This Schlage one at Amazon ($38.54) has aux inputs as well.
The keypad shows the tamper switch as optional, but I would definitely be sure to get it and use it, otherwise a simple screwdriver and short defeats the keypad.
