I have two identical GE 45605 receptacles in my network. Inside InControl HA, one of them appears as an On-Off Device with toggle buttons, and one of them appears as a Dimmer with a slider. Both should be simple On-Off Devices.
I also have a GE 45603 plug-in module that appears as a Dimmer but is also just a simple On-Off Device.
Is there a way to change the device type in InControl to better reflect the Devices' actual type?

Yes, it does that sometimes when adding devices.
Click on the device.
In the right hand panel you will see the device name, and under it the "DimmerSwitch" text.
Move the mouse to "DimmerSwitch" and it turns in to a drop-down box where you can change it to Standard Swicth.

Hey, thanks for the tip! Worked great.
If you have time for a couple more questions: Is there a way to edit Scene names? What about enabling/disabling Scenes? For example I will not need my front porch light going on and off in the summer when I come home from work, and I don't want it to process later and later with the later sunset/DST either.

Renaming scenes works the same way as changing the device type - hover your mouse on the name and it'll let you change it.
For disabling scenes, there's an "Enabled" checkbox when you select the scene. It's near the bottom right hand corner of the screen. De-select that and then go offline/online to repopulate the server with your scene change.
