Every week or two I notice that several of my ZWave devices have red alerts on the icons. (wish I could attach a screenshot)
The alerts are not isolated to sections of the house - they range from the front to the back pretty much randomly dispersed geographically, so I don't think the issue is caused by one device dropping off and cascading the problem.
This morning I found 15 devices with red marks (roughly half.) I can still toggle the devices on or off without any problems.
The detailed error when I click the alert is always "Command Expired:" "CommandCLASSBASIC.BASIC_GET" The timestamp for the errors are not all the same and range around 12 hours.
If I reset the error message the problem does not re-occur for another week or two.
Does anyone have any pointers? I am running ICHA 3.113 in a Server 2012 Virtual Server, (ESXi Hosted.) Using a ZStick.

Has this always been a problem or is it new? Have you tried a network heal? If the devices still respond normally to commands, you could always disable polling or as an initial test, increase the polling interval.
