Years ago I received a free HA07 with an order of other modules. I added it and quickly realized I had no need for it. No the controller has been sitting in a drawer with no batteries for years. I finally want it out of the system. How do I get the system to remove it? Deleting it just makes it come back when my Z-stick gets polled.

You'll want to treat it as a failed device. Here's how to get rid of it for good: http://docs.incontrolha.com/home/remove-a-failed-device
What node id is your ha07? What about your usb stick's node id? How did you originally add the ha07 to the z-wave network?
USB stick is 1 and the HA07 is 20.
I'm not sure what to suggest if you aren't able to use the "remove failed" command. That should generally work... if it's not, your only option to get rid of it would be to reset your network and start from scratch by adding them back in without the HA07.
NickTT,
I found this document and wondered if it might help with the HA07 problem.
Here is the link. I saw something about resetting this unit starting on page 39. Maybe then it can be removed from Axial.

Hope it helps.
Did that twice. HA07 resets but the Z-stick won't release it. I am thinking about adding it back to the network and the try removing it again or just start using it for something.... But it's so damn ugly!
