Anyone else having this strange issue. I have two trane thermostats. When I launch the InControl mobile app, they both act differently. On Trane 1 I use the mobile app to turn it ON and it goes into RUN mode. Seconds later the InControl mobile icon goes back to OFF but the Trane stays in RUN. Trane 2 shows up as ON in Incontrol mobile. I set it to OFF and Trane 2 goes into into ESM mode. Then a few seconds later the InControl mobile icon goes to ON but the Trane 2 stays in ESM mode.
Any thoughts on this confusion? - BTW - if I don't use the mobile apps both Trane thermostats stay in the mode I set them.

I think what happens when you go on/off is "undefined." I also have a Trane, but when I use the On/Off, the thermostat's window flickers to the "Run/Econ/Off" screen but doesn't actually change anything. It just stays on whatever I was at.
Your best bet is to tap on the icon in the mobile app and then set your mode from that screen.
