From what I can find (especially in Australia) the Aeon labs one is the only humidity sensor around. I don't believe there is any door/humidity sensor.
For cheaper you may be able to run a humidity sensor through an Arduino to activate scenes but once you add a wireless shield and the effort programming it you would come close in costs.
When the LightBlue Cortardo comes out that may be a cheaper way of getting a humidity sensor but how much trouble do you want to go to?
