I upgraded from the release version to the new (ish) Beta version to try it out. Upgrade went fine, and the devices show up. However, looks like the UI has changed. Formerly there used to be a single "Power" button which toggled on/off and showed the current status by lighting up. This was the same for "Standard Switch" and "Power Outlet" type of devices.
Now, the UI has separate "On" and "off" buttons for each Standard Switch and Power Outlet. The Standard Switch does show the current state by lighting up the bulb icon. However, there is no indication of whether the Outlet is powered on or not. Why not? It is nice to know at a glance if the outlets are on or off.
