Level logging for the CT32 thermostat mixes up all sorts of data : humidity, system state, temperature, etc. It's therefore not easy to use/automate this info. I thus created a separate/custom sensor for humidity and temperature. But can't do it for the system's state : the software doesn't offer it as a custom sensor (despite the fact its data appears in level logging). Audit log shows this particular data as "THERMOSTATOPERATINGSTATE_REPORT".
Since the data is there and already handled by the software, could it be possible to add the possibility to create a custom sensor for it?
Thanks,
Custom sensor creation for device state

Good idea - can you add this as a feature at http://incontrolha.uservoice.com?
