I used to use a Gen2 (?) controller and upgraded to the GEN5 USB ZStick (with the weird driver name UZB?). Now with version 4.0.5852, it seems to have difficulty finding the controller every time I reboot the computer and restart InControl. It mostly works fine with unplugs/Plugins and restarts of InControl SW. It seems to ALWAYS need to take out the control Z stick and wait 10 secs and plug it back in again and then stop and start InControl. It was mentioned that this SW vers had some changes to the driver (?) and maybe it will go away with the next version? I have to go up/down two flights of stairs each time and theat gets old real quick during testing!
Thanks,

Mike try going into your services and set the InControl service to a delay start. That may help... Let us know.

I got the services.msc window up on windows 7 but could not find any services that had to do with incontrol.
Thanks,
Mike Driscoll

Does InControl have to be running as a service to be seen on the services.msc page in Windows? I don't run as a service because then the HTML Curl commands don't work.
Thanks,
Mike Driscoll

Yes, that's how it shows up as a service. It won't help in this scenario though... you'll need to contact Aeon Labs for further help from here, since it's their driver that appears to be non-functional after a reboot.
Also, very strange about the curl commands. It should work regardless of running as a service or not.
