About two months ago IC started to disconnect from the cloud about once a week. Usually I could just close IC and restart and it would reconnect to the cloud on its own.
Two weeks ago it disconnected itself and I had to go back through the cloud sign in to get it to reconnect. This took several attempts but it eventually connected.
Today I found it disconnected and when I restarted IC it opened as the "free trial" version. I had to re-enter my registration code to get it to upgrade to the Pro version. But even after that and re-sign in to the cloud I could not get it to relink with the cloud.
Any suggestions to relink?
Also, what might be causing this frequent disconnect from the cloud?

Is there anything in your logs that might suggest any problems? Can you open up chrome and try to visit http://cloud.incontrolha.com? You should see a simple "cannot GET" message -- which means you are able to see the server. If you don't get that, then the server isn't available from your connection and we can troubleshoot some more.
