I'm having a heck of a time getting my thermostat to work with InControl.
I have the Trane TZEMT400BB3NX. I can set heat and cool points, I can set the fan to auto/on/cycle, and I can set the system to off/heat/cool/auto. So far, the only semi-reliable function I've had is...reading the current temperature.
Here is a list of the problems I'm having here:
- every single time I open the app and look at the thermostat, it says the system is off (rather than heating or cooling, or auto as I've set it)
- most of the time I open up the thermostat, it tells me that the heat AND cool point are set to 80 degrees. Clearly this is incorrect, as my thermostat won't allow me to set the two temps within 3 minutes of each other.
- if I change either temp set point, it doesn't register on the thermostat. On a rare occasion it will, but most of the time it won't
- there are a ton of options in the thermostat entry in the mobile app (at the bottom) that my thermostat doesn't have or would use. I'm not sure why they even show up.
Basically, it seems like InControl is barely communicating with my thermostat, and I don't know how to fix it. I've tried auto configure and it seemed to indicate that it worked, but everything is still the same...

I'm having similar problems. Everything is gravy in the Windows application but the app only shows current temp correctly and controls don't work. I think a recent update broke it. It used to work most of the time.
