Trying to find out if any device or virtual device is cable of accepting value grater than 255? Was trying to implement a way to change tv channels using Alexa by setting virtual device to particular level and picking up that value in a script telling eventghost to send ir code to the cable box. Is that possible? For example "Alexa change 'Device' to 600"?
Way to set device value larger than 255?

I think you'll find that Alexa is the limiting factor here. In my testing, I wasn't able to convince her to set anything above 100... this seems to be built into Alexa.
Did you find a way to get above 100?
