I am running inControl on an Intel Compute stick (Window 10).   I am seeing the following error a number of times in the Windows logs:

Source: SideBySide

Message:

Activation context generation failed for "c:\program files\moonlit software, llc\incontrol ha\drivers\cp210x_vcp_windows\CP210xVCPInstaller_x64.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls,language="*",processorArchitecture="amd64",publicKeyToken="6595b64144ccf1df",type="win32",version="6.0.0.0" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

Any idea what might be causing this?

That file is the driver for the Aeon Labs USB stick. I'm not sure why it would be attempting to run; perhaps Windows thinks it didn't install properly and is attempting to re-install it? How often does it show up in your logs?

It seems to happen every day between 3 AM and 5 AM.  There are always 2 entries, the one I gave previously and this one:

Activation context generation failed for "c:\program files\moonlit software, llc\incontrol ha\drivers\hubz\HUBZ_VCP_Installer_x64.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls,language="*",processorArchitecture="amd64",publicKeyToken="6595b64144ccf1df",type="win32",version="6.0.0.0" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.
