Android does not control individual nodes anymore

I'm running the latest server and latest Android client. (As of last night). Sometime in the last few months I lost the ability to control individual z-wave nodes - lights, ouotlets, etc. - via the Android app. I can control scenes just fine. If the nodes are part of a scene they work as expected. If I try to turn them on/off or dim them individually nothing apparently happens.

I noticed this when I was setting up my Christmas lights. I'm not sure when I lost this ability...

Any advice or troubleshooting hint are welcome.
Thanks,
kk

I should add: This is a direct connection (not 'cloud' based). Again, this used to work.
Thanks,

That's quite interesting, I've never seen a problem like this before. Are you using enhanced/multi-user security? If so, you may have those devices set to "read only." If not... here's a few questions that might help me track this one down:

1- When you turn a device off on your phone, does the phone show it as off?
2- Does InControl on your PC show it as off?
3- Do you see a red "!" next to the device on your PC?

P.s. I sent this reply earlier to your support ticket...did you not get it?

Ryan - I did get both messages (support ticket and email). Sorry for the delayed response.

Regarding your questions:
1 - Android (Phone and Tablet) - it imediately shows the state change (on to off / off to on) on the phone but nothing else changes, (Device dosn't change nor does server console).
1 - iPhone - the 'blue ring' around the text (on/off) changes state but the text does not. If I change the state from the server the text then changes . in other words, the text seems to reflect the correct state.
1 - It seems as though the phones can see the correct state and can control scenes but can not send commands to individual devices.
2 - The InControl console relects the correct device state.
3 - No red '!'

I do have the multi-user security set-up. My daughter uses an iPhone and only has access to some devices. I use Android on two devices and have full access. I have double-checked the permissions for the users and for the devices. All seem to be correctly configured (viewable, etc.)

Again this is a direcet connection to the the server through a firewall. It used to work.

Are there some 'command logs' that I can view?

Thanks for your help,
kk

Would you try disabling your multi-user security to see if the problem is related to it? If it fixes it, then I'll start to investigate a possible bug in that plugin.

By the way, can your iPhone control the devices?

Sure I can try disabling it - How do I do that? (I hope I don't loose the config).

See notes abouve about the iPhone - It DOES control scenes but NOT individual nodes...

So I unchecked the 'Enable Advanced Security' checbox on the Multi-user plug-in. I changed my Android Password to match the main server password. Now everything works from my Android tablet and phone. I'll try the main server password on the iPhone later, but my guess is that it will work there too. It seems like you nailed it - something wrong with the multi-user security...
Thanks for your support,
kk
