Can't log in through mobile app

Tried the free cloud version, and it behaves in a similar way. At first it seemed to connect (dot in top right was green), but it didn't show any of my scenes, devices, etc. Then after a few minutes it just crashed (I sent a report). I launched the app again, and it again appeared to connect but didn't show any scenes/devices/etc. Didn't crash the second time. Right now, both apps behave the same way it seems - both show a green light, and in Debug I see "connected to cloud". Can you check your database to see if my desktop app has actually sent anything to your server? Maybe it's a desktop app sync issue?

I do have a pretty aggressive firewall as part of my router. Do you think I need to open any special ports or anything else that I may be unaware of? For the desktop app to communicate with your server. Although if it's just HTTP/HTTPS, there shouldn't be any problem.

I also tried the server/port app for Android but couldn't get it working either. It just shows a blank/black screen. I set up the server, port, and password and pressed Refresh, but nothing happened. Tried force-quitting and trying again, but no success. I am able to access the InControl API from my phone by following this URL in my phone's browser (via LAN/WiFi): xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:1178/zwave/devices?password=mypassword. It shows the expected results (the JSON array), and I can see my devices list in that array. So the server app on my PC is definitely sending data... but neither of the 3 apps works :(

From the server app, what does the cloud icon look like? Does it have a green checkmark in the corner or a yellow-ish icon?

I just installed the paid version of the mobile app (my first InControl app), on Android, and am unable to do anything through it. At first I was able to log in using my cloud credentials, but shortly thereafter (about 30-60 seconds after logging in, possibly during the first sync of data), the app crashed. I sent a crash report. But afterwards, I am unable to even log in through the mobile app... it keeps telling me the username or password is invalid. Meanwhile, I am able to use the same credentials through the desktop app without a problem (desktop app tells me it's connected successfully to the InControl server).

Every time I open the app, it greets me with the "Setup InControl Server" screen.

Does the free cloud version behave the same way for you?

Actually, all of this was on v2.225 of the desktop app. Trying now on v3.

OK, the paid cloud app works now! I had to upgrade the desktop app to v3, restart my computer, and then go through Controller Setup again to make it all work. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the Android app. Without those exact steps, I was still having random bugs and connectivity problems along the way.

The server/port app is still unresponsive, though... just showing a blank black screen. That's fine, though, as long as the cloud app works.

The server app always had a green icon on it. I even tried disabling and re-enabling the cloud switch in the bottom right corner, but it didn't help. I was only able to get the cloud app to work after following the steps above.
