I am also still offline. Getting:
Your connection to the cloud server has been lost:
Error initializing handshake with http://cloud.incontrolha.com:443/

Can you do http over port 443? I thought it would be port 80 for http, or 443 with https?

Anyone else having trouble with cloud access? Had it at 4 am and when I checked around 8 am, I couldn't connect. Still no access at 6 pm.


We had a glitch yesterday morning that knocked everyone offline, although it should be back by now -- I'm showing it's online and functional. Have you gone offline and online again to see if that gets it back for you?

It's back. Both the home and remote connections were offline. Went back in and reconnected and all is well. FYI I've switched to Teamviewer on the remote since Logmein no longer has a free version. So far so good with Teamviewer.

FYI - I've tried:

- Exit IC, restart service, relaunch
- Re-login to cloud service (message returned says it linked ok)
- Go offline/online

No change, still offline.

Checking the logfile, I started getting socket errors on cloud connection on 3/4 @ 06:39:
3/4/2014 6:39:47 AM: Cloud: Attempting to connect to cloud server over chanId: db32c...
3/4/2014 6:39:51 AM: Cloud: SocketIo_Error - System.Exception
Exception of type 'System.Exception' was thrown.

FYI - My Cloud connection was restored at 08:26:17. I had done nothing since earlier.

There was an outage with the cloud server that happened last night -- we posted about it in the Announcements forum. If you want notifications of these, there's a link you can click to follow the announcements section - that way when we post about an outage, you'll know about it and can plan accordingly.
