Using version: 4.8.6746.14 - Pro

I have been finding that Axial is disconnecting from the cloud and not reconnecting.

Some of the disconnect have occurred from my internet connection dropping and not specifically Axial's fault, however when the internet connection returns Axial doesn't reconnect automatically.  I have to stop the service and restart it to get it to reconnect to the cloud.

After the disconnect the log is continually filled up with the following, as an example from today:

scott, tried your build and it is good now.

To be clear the cloud reconnection is working great now.  I'm just taking about the icon image bug I mentioned.

I tested with this build and found the following:

When the GUI is loaded after a system restart, with the service starting at boot up, I found that now only the custom images for the weather and virtual devices update after the 25 seconds.

The same happens if you stop and restart the service then exit and resturn to the GUI.

The only way I get all the images to change after the delay, is to stop the service, exit the GUI, then restart the GUI.

Not a big deal, just thought I finally respond since I got time to test.  Thanks.

Thanks for the update.

Here's another build from today - I'm interested to know if this takes care of your image loading problem. For what it's worth, there is an intentional 15 second delay before images will load, so you should wait at least that long before you decide it isn't working.

Update on my main issue here.

No problems since installing the new beta version.  I tested with restarting my router and it successfully connected back up correctly.

Thanks,

Awesome.  I've installed and will trial it out and let you know any comments.

My first comment is that you have removed the "Rules" menu.  I know that you said in a popup that it was coming, however I had a couple of rules still remaining for emailing notifications out which I had left there for now, and I have noticed that they still work, however I can't get to them now...... so I'll happily go back a version and remove them and change to events, just a FYI that if people are still using them they are continuing to work but have no access to contol them now.

Also whilst I'm here, I have noticed one other thing.  Not really a big issue, just an observation.  I did get a bug the other day and customized a lot of the icons on the devices.  Love it BTW, but I noticed that when my PC restarts and the service starts automatically and them I start the GUI that it is all default icons.  I have to stop the service, close the GUI, then load the GUI/service again to get the custom icons.  No big deal, just a little weird thing I noticed the last few days.  Might just be my setup, i don't know,

Cheers

We've been experienting with this very 'feature' in a later version of the server that we haven't yet released to the public. You are welcome to try it out, but please give us some feedback if you find that it works well in your scenario (or if you find that it doesn't!)
