Hello-I have an AEON in-wall appliance switch (DSC18103-ZWUS)controlling it using the AEON stick and Incontrol v3.38.5028.18208.

I am able to use the switch to turn lights on & off, but am unable to find a way to read the energy usage. My understanding is this module supports energy usage monitoring?

Thanks in advance!

Be sure to use the Beta z-wave controller (tools/options menu). After that, right click the device and auto-configure it. After a short while it should start reporting energy readings back to you.

Thanks for the quick response! I have Beta running, and have the switch set up as a 'StandardSwitch' and I can control on/off, but even after Auto Configure, I don't have any readings...

Is there a different type of object I should make the switch?

Thanks!

Did auto-configure report success after you did it? How long did you wait? It can take 15-20 minutes to get your first report depending on the device.

I did receive a success notice:

Auto-configuration node 12
Manufacturer Id is 134. Product Id is 18.
Associating device with main controller...
... Success!

It was nearly instantaneous (I only have a few devices so far).

And I also rebooted afterwards to make sure everything was reset and it still won't read the energy usage.

Ideas?

You might try to configure it manually. Use the "Params" button to setup the following parameter numbers with the values:

- Param 80 to value 2 (sends basic report when light is turned on/off)
- Param 90 to value 1 (enables reports for change in watt usage)
- Param 91 to value 10 (sends report when watt changes by 10)
- Param 101 to value 14 (report types to send)
- Param 111 to value 30 (report every 30 seconds)

ok, looks like things are working now. I ended up rebooting a 2nd time and then it showed up. I didn't have to use the manual changes, but will bookmark this for when I add the next controller

Thanks!
