INControl has stopped working

OK, so this is my first run at home automation with Z-Wave and so far I'm loving it. I have InControl standard edition running on a netbook with Windows 7 32 bit with an Aeon Labs Z-Stick. My problem is that IC will randomly stop working and a Windows box will pop up reporting this. IC will not close but it does report as being offline and I cannot control anything from my phone (kind of the whole point) Searching through Win Event Viewer shows an Application error and a .NET Runtime error. Everything worked fine for the first few days then it all went to pot. I've searched the forums and could not find anyone else with a similar problem so I'm sure the problem is on my end. Thanks in advance for any help offered.

So I've been playing around with the settings and I now have InControl set to run as a service. This has stopped the Windows error but the server will go offine for no apparent reason. Does anybody have suggestions as to what might cause the server to go offline? I've tested my internet by gaming on-line with no disconnects for a couple hours then come back to my netbook only to discover IC has disconnected again.

The cloud feature for me is continuously down as well. It seems I could go several weeks with no issue, then connection issues for several days in a row.
I'm only using the free version of this software- I've been hesitant to purchase the full version due to that issue. This does defeat the entire purpose of remote control...

Sadly, I was unable to find any support to help me with my issue. The only solution I was able to come up with that provided consistent remote control was to bite the bullet and invest in a VeraLite (works great, btw). I'm going to try my InControl setup in a different location (I'm using the paid version) and hope it works there.
