Troubleshooting Bad Device?

All of a sudden my z-wave network has come to a crawl. Most of the time on/off commands are not even acknowledged. Sometime a few minutes later the light will actually turn on/off but most of the time the command is never received.

I have 30 devices in the network. I tried a Heal multiple times with no change. None of the devices have a red exclamation point next to them.

How do I troubleshoot which device is causing the entire network to die? I can't see anything in the InControl logfile. Do I have to turn up some debug command to get more detailed info?

Can you find the zwave devices on your wifi access point along with signal strength the ap registers for the individual devices. That is how I normally find wifi devices with marginal signals.

Edit: Strike that. I'm new to zwave. I thought zwave used wifi, but I just checked my facts. It is a way lower frequency. Sorry.

I think I may have a bad device and I am not having much luck finding it.

Generally you can look at your logfile.txt to search for "fail" messages to devices. If you have a device that consistently fails, it may be the problem device.

Also, watch the light on your USB stick. If it goes dark and stays dark for up to 30 seconds, then it means it's attempting to communicate with a device that isn't responding. This is usually the biggest reason to see lag in your setup.
