Unable to remove device

I was having issues with zwave response time and an odd installation on my computer that wouldn't let Incontrol run as a service. I decided to buy a new computer in run InControl (as well as be a file server at home), and decided to build the network up from scratch. I excluded every device on my network from the z-stick, but both InControl and ZenTools reports a device still included that fails every time I try to change its state. I think this may be what was giving me latency issues.

How do I go about removing this device from the controller if it doesn't actually exist (and therefore I can't hit a button on it)?

I realize that this may not be a direct problem with your software, but I appreciate any help!

Thanks!

(PS, 'remove failed device' doesn't work. It tell me the network failed)

(PPS, I found this [ http://store.incontrolzwave.com/boards/topic/309/unable-to-remove-a-failed-device ] but I don't know how to reset the controller)

Looks like it's easiest to factory reset the controller inside of InControl. I'm an idiot. Thanks.

You can try running the Zen Tools and marking the device as a failed device, then selecting remove failed device.
If this doesn't work you may settle for hiding the device within InControl.
If you don't want to hide the device the only option I know of is to reset the Z-Stick. The problem with doing this is that it will erase ALL of your devices not just the failed one. If you have a lot of devices rejoining them all and subsequently fixing all your scenes could be a lot of work.
