Have either of you tried out the beta android app yet? It should work better for tablets than the current store version. We'd love to see you get involved with the beta and supplying your feedback before it hits release.
If you haven't joined the G+ Community yet, you'll need to do that as the first step to getting the beta app on your phone. After joining, you can click the link found in the community pages to "Opt into the beta."

Hi Ryan,
I am already using the beta version on my Samsung NoteII and wall mounted tablet. It looks good except for the problem I am having with the thermostat. The on/off button is somehow problematic and I can not add the thermostat to the favorite screen other than that I am happy with it.
