I have installed a zwave ceiling fan switch. I can find the switch on IC and control the speeds through IC, but i cannot find it on my iphone app under the preset device groups. it does not show up in; "lights" or "plugs" or any of the other preset device lists. i was able to locate it via one of the customizable shortcut buttons, but when opened, i can only turn it off and on. i cannot switch speeds.
i would like to be able to adjust speeds via the iphone app and find it in a list format (like lights or plugs or thermostats) for when i add more of these fan switches.
what am i doing wrong?

thanks for the reply.
i have run "auto-configure" and while i can see it and operate the speeds (low,med,high) in IC. in the mobile app there is no option to control speeds. simply an "on" or "off".
so, i can turn it on from the phone app, but it will go to whatever speed it was last set at the switch. if i want to adjust the speed, i must either go to the switch or to IC on my computer. speed is not an adjustable option from the phone app.
it is a Leviton VRF01.

I'm just guessing as I don't have one myself but have you run an "auto configure" on the device in IC?
Which one did you buy?

Is fan speed adjustment not available from the mobile app?
